driftswell operates Prima Vista. This page describes the current website and training tool. Last updated: 12 September 2026.
Microphone audio
The microphone starts after you choose a setup or start action and grant permission. Audio is analyzed in your browser and is not uploaded by the trainer. Ending practice or leaving the tool releases its microphone resources. You can revoke microphone permission in your browser or system settings.
Optional diagnostics
Diagnostics keep recent detection values in memory. If you explicitly choose to capture the next pluck, the trainer can hold a short waveform of about 93 milliseconds in memory. Clearing diagnostics or reloading removes it. Copying or exporting diagnostics creates a copy under your control; copies you save or send elsewhere are not removed by clearing this page.
Practice records and preferences
Regular practice history and microphone preferences use localStorage; continuous sessions and attempts use IndexedDB. They belong to this browser profile and website origin, without account synchronization. They can remain until you discard applicable sessions or clear site data in browser settings. Clearing all site data removes both practice modes and preferences and cannot be undone by this site.
Website delivery
Loading pages sends network requests, which can expose request metadata such as an IP address and browser information to the hosting infrastructure. Cloudflare is the intended hosting provider. Local audio analysis does not mean that visiting a website makes no network requests. We do not add practice histories or microphone recordings to those requests.
Advertising and measurement
Advertising is disabled. Optional Google Analytics 4 measurement is disabled by default and only available when configured for the production site. If available, a bottom banner asks for your permission before loading Google Analytics. Declining does not restrict practice. When you allow it, Google receives website visits and basic usage events (such as microphone setup outcomes and practice starts or completions), together with browser and network metadata. We do not send microphone audio, device names, individual note records, email addresses or URL query strings as event data. Analytics uses host-only cookies with a pvga prefix and a configured lifetime of 30 days; these identify a browser, not a person. Your choice is saved in localStorage. You can withdraw consent in the footer to stop further measurement and remove these cookies. Withdrawal does not erase data already received by Google or cancel requests already in flight. Clearing site data also removes your saved choice. Analytics is separate from any future advertising consent.
Email and your choices
If you contact the listed Gmail address, your email address and message are handled by the email services you and the operator use. Only include information you intend to share. Contact driftswell with questions or requests about correspondence; locally stored practice records remain on your device and are not accessible to the operator through the trainer.
